  • Practice motor skills (e.g. piano playing) just before you go to sleep. Within 4 hours of going to sleep. Sleep helps consolidate learning.
  • Remove barriers to practice.
  • Making it very easy to start practice.
  • Set aside at least 20 hours. Practice long enough to get through initial frustration level. 40 min/day for a month, for example.
